Abbott Medical Devices: The Chris Rice Story

Filed under “stories from the heart,” Fridays filmed this mini documentary of a heart transplant patient named Chris Rice. Our two person crew spent 4 days in North Carolina to film Chris with his family and health care team. That year, Abbott opened its big medical conference with this video and segued into a live performance by Chris. What an impactful way to kick things off. Our Director of Photography and lead for this project is Roger Gardner… he still stays in touch with Chris.
